Once I purchase Nikon Care, how do I make a claim or get support?

How can I cancel Nikon Care?

If you are the original purchaser of the Nikon Care plan, you may request cancellation by either contacting the Nikon Authorized Dealer where you purchased your plan or, for purchases made at nikonusa.com, please go here.

How do I activate the coverage for Nikon Care?

Your Nikon Care plan is automatically activated at the time of purchase of the Nikon Care plan, there is no need for any additional steps. To access your plan, create or log in to your account here.

Is Nikon Care transferable?

Yes. All Nikon Care plans are transferable at no additional cost. Please contact 1-866-210-0332 or visit here, for details. Please note that after a Nikon Care plan is transferred, it is no longer cancellable.

How many products can be covered under one Nikon Care plan?

Each Nikon Care plan covers only a single eligible Nikon product. Each eligible product requires a separate Nikon Care plan.

Can I purchase a Nikon Care plan for a product I already own?

For purchases made on NikonUSA.com, Nikon Care is not currently offered for previously purchased products and Nikon Care plans must be purchased at the time of purchase of the eligible Nikon product. For purchases from a Nikon Authorized Dealer, please contact the Dealer directly to learn about coverage availability.

Does Nikon Care offer free shipping?

Nikon Care coverage includes free shipping both ways within the U.S. for all service and repairs. If you need to send your product to a Nikon repair center, we’ll provide you with a pre-paid shipping label to make the process easier.

Is Nikon Care offered outside of the USA?

No. Nikon Care is currently available in the USA only.

I did not receive a confirmation email, how can I access my plan?

Your Nikon Care plan will be delivered by email from the administrator of your Nikon Care plan. Please check your spam/junk email folder. If you are still unable to locate the email after 4 weeks from the time of purchase, please contact 1-866-210-0332 or click here for assistance.

When does the coverage period of Nikon Care plans begin?

If you purchase a Nikon Care plan from an Authorized Nikon Dealer at a physical location (i.e., a store or popup), plan coverage is activated at the time of purchase of an eligible Nikon product. If you purchase a Nikon Care plan online, either from NikonUSA.com or a Nikon Authorized dealer, plan coverage is activated on the date that your eligible Nikon product is shipped. Details of specific plans, including start date and term, can be accessed from your Nikon Care account, and are also outlined in the email that includes the Nikon Care plan’s Terms & Conditions, which will be sent within 2-4 weeks of purchase.

What coverage is included in Nikon Care?

Purchasing a Nikon Care plan provides you with additional service that runs concurrently with your one-year limited warranty. Nikon Care plans provide service for your eligible product for a coverage period of 2 or 3 years, and Nikon Care+ adds coverage for Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH).
